A best-seller from the collection, the Renji raw jeans is comfortable thanks to its regular fit and elevate even the simplest outfit thanks to a dense 15oz Japanese selvedge denim, slightly fluffy and with a beautiful irregular texture.

Built to last with premium finishes throughout, these jeans will only get better with time and wear, gradually revealing a unique patina—just like you—with subtle indigo hues.

The charm of japanese denim

For over a decade, we’ve had a true passion for the authenticity of Japanese denim, and we’re proud to continue offering jeans crafted from these uniquely textured fabrics.

As the industry modernizes, production speeds increase, and materials become more uniform and smooth. But our Japanese supplier Kuroki has chosen a different path—one of patience.

In their workshop in Ibara, traditional shuttle looms operate at a slow, deliberate pace, far from the high-speed machines of today. And it’s precisely this slowness that allows for the creation of a visually rich fabric, full of charming irregularities and a slightly fluffy surface.

This 15oz denim (515g/m²) gives it a substantial feel and a structured drape on the body—something rarely found in today’s lighter, softer jeans.

Finally, we’ve applied a gentle “one wash” in our Portuguese workshop, softening the fabric just enough to stabilize it. The result: a comfortable jean from the very first wear, and easy to care for.
